Don't Doubt me be About Me

Starts off just right.

Drops off a little bit, but keeps your interest/ears.

It's love lost. But wanting it back.

Finishes off just like that, anticlimactically. But leaving you wanting more. Which is good right? If a song leaves you wanting more. It means they've done a good job of drawing you in, getting you hooked, filling your synapses with messages, no?

Right click this shit, and save as. You won't regret it.

Chuckin my deuces...New ShizzyBaby vVv certified playlist dropping soon. Let's kick this summer off right.

Now Ya Gotta Kiss Me

Finally, I have resisted the urge to post this track because one should not listen to non-mastered, non-CDQ versions of amazing songs. In the vein of Ransom, Ignant Shit, etc. comes the latest installment of dizzying lyrics and flow.

Selfish

Sometimes, I'm selfish, and I don't share a jam as soon as I should. Well, now that I've had a few months with this one and it still keeps creeping into playlists, I'll share it with y'all

Oh Shit! & Night Drugs: Everybody Needs (Fabian Remix)

FALKIN A

As I admired a plane before deciding to take off...I realized that for me, like so many people, (tempted to say most, but I know I can't) it started with Bob Marley. And as I think about the way I view life now and how I live it, I realize that Bob Marley has never left me, and that the artists I like most, embody his spirit and that there is an element to their music that is the same as Mr. Marleys'

The point is, there are people who stay true to themselves, and in being true to themselves, only share with us...good vibrations.

Drake ft. Aiko: July

For that same reason, wanted to say thank you Fred. I've longed for some new remixes. Just in time.

The formula hasn't changed because it's perfect, but we need newer vocals to keep on flowing.

Long live Falke.

Sia: Clap Your Hands (Fred Falke Remix)

Nope. No problems. No issues. No beef. No worries. No ceilings

10 Minutes in Heaven

Yo, sooooooo

I'm sure a lot of you might have played the game, "7 Minutes in Heaven" before, or something to that extent.

I'm gonna give you 10 minutes in heaven instead. And the coolest part about this version is, if you play it 6 times in a row, you get an entire HOUR in heaven!

Sounds pretty cool, right?

Jose Amnesia - The Eternal (Sunrise Extended Sonix Remix)

Right click, don't come back.

Loving

Hello, Good Morning

Had momentarily changed the background picture to something Thor and I were just beginning to toy with. After receiving an e-mail from Jake, a loyal follower and new friend, showing love and sharing his passion with me towards the original (I'm a rave girl!), I came to the conclusion that until I can find something that really truly encapsulates the spirit of this site and invokes the next chapter of me, I can't change the photo.

Stay tuned...

The Knocks: Blackout

Fly

I don't have a picture of the beach for this one, or a snapshot from the dashboard of a moving car.

I'm not going to say anything I have/haven't already said.

This is how I would describe the song:

If "Driving to Heaven" is driving to heaven, then this song is like the pit stop along the way where you have to sort of take a look behind you and say, "holy shit dude" but then you take a look in front of you and you're like, "word. let's do this".

If you understand what that means, you've already downloaded the song and have begun listening to it. If you don't, you're probably scratching your head or thinking, "what the f-, bro?".
If you're the latter, just take a gander. Or, you can even search for it at YouTube and listen to it to decide if you like it or not first.

Either way,

Here's this:

Jose Amnesia - Follow Me (Original Mix)

Fader (x2)

Oooooh my god shizzybaby,

I saw the title of the magazine in the image for your post and I almost peed my pants. For a split second I thought you had already hollered at the song I am about to provide all these wonderful people with a link to.

As per everyone's favorite dj's post the other day, I've been floating around the blogosphere looking for more of this Temper Trap. They have me quite trapped, I must say.

If you'll listen carefully to the first few lines of this next song, I think you'll find that it reflects the situation - at the very least the mindset - many of us are in or have experienced recently. And will probably continue to experience off and on again.

So it's a song that speaks to all of us. It's got great tempo, chill but not nap-time tiresome.

Temper Trap - Fader (The Knocks Remix ft. Samuel)

I'm in transit but I'm stranded on this boat and I pledge my self allegiance to a better night's sleep at home and the sweet sweet sun's coming down hard the sun's coming down hard...

Yeah, it's like that.

I also need to throw another one for The Playlist up here. I don't know how many of you have been keeping up with The Playlist. It's weird shit, in a way. But a lot of it is gorgeous. Like this one. I promise, the drums barely bang in this one.

Blake Jarrell (operates out of Chi-town, by way of N'Orleans) - Boracay (Venaccio Remix)

Yeah. It's still like that.

Sunny Style

All of the leaks off this mixtape have been awesome. Beautiful swag. If you like chillin out and listening to stuff that's sexy, don't pass this up. I really like the beat also.

Tyga & Chris Brown: Deuces (ft. Kevin McCall)

Featuring Nicki Minaj continuing on her journey to achieve female Wayne status. Obviously, she's not the female Wayne, she's the Harajuku Barbie, but people love analogies, don't we?

On the female Wayne status tip, you know someone is on that path when you start listening to tracks featuring them and you're not really feeling the song that much, but then their verse comes on...and you're like DAMN SONNN. And all of a sudden, the rest of the song feels a lot hotter than it did the time before. Magic (Caution! Listen twice in a row in order to fully the feel effect, also blaze...but you already knew that)

Christina Aguilera ft. Nicki Minaj: WooHoo

The best for last, she's going to dominate for so long. Her voice is perfect for electro. Disco influenced electro-pop, a dream come true. Electrogasm straight up.

Katy Perry ft. Snoopy D O Double G: California Gurls

Thor, holler at one of those California girls for me. Straight up winning right now. Nothin' comes close to the GOLDEN COAST!

Big Love

Shizzybaby, I'm diggin RAC and I'm diggin the love theme (even though there isn't much else).

So, I've decided to keep things going with a little song I've had sitting in my playlists for a little while now. It's a more literal manifestation of this theme everyone's got going but sometimes, you just need to be up front about it I suppose.

Keep the love going, with Big Love by CFCF.

Remember, keep your browsers pointed at Djshizzybaby.blogspot.com, and ask for

It's all good though...I Think She Likes Me

But even if it turns out she doesn't, it's nice to know lost love can still feel this good

*Battle of the V's* Love Lost vs. Love Lost (Keljet Remix)

Also, I'm still emotionally trapped inside of Sweet Disposition. RAC... this guy has soul. Enjoying mellow feel good disco vibed jams that still have a build and break but don't go crazy. But what's crazy, is that if you pick up the vibe, you still do go crazy. Revolution. Shake your booty

Warning! I am not responsible for the levels of V achieved when inspecting the links below. Proceed with caution.

Hop up out the Benz, Turn my Swag On

Don't let the rain come down on me take me back where I wanna be I need blue waters dance on the shore step inside of my dreams once more show your true colors carry me away take me back where the music plays.

When I hear/think those words, I think a lot of things, and a lot of places. None necessarily more so than others, but whatever happens to come to mind is always beautiful.

This jam of all jams (I'm thinking it's a 9.5-10. I'll do a "10" post one of these days, just to let you know how this scale works) was originally brought to my attention by, a one, Acid Rain. And since someone bumped it somewhere along 80 on the way from the Shump Palace to the Shump Barn it's always brought a huge smile to my face. Also, I lied earlier - almost every time I hear this song I'm back in Mexico.

Black Rock ft. Debra Andrew - Blue Water

(right click/ctl click, "open in new tab")

And let the music take you away

P.S. A lot of the time this song takes me back to Europe, too.

But it also takes me back to the back of a big red pickup truck in a parking lot in the sun.

Style

Style is an interesting notion. To be frank, style is simply swag. You have style if you rock whatever you wear with swag. So when you notice something you think is ill, ultimately the reason you like it if you saw it on someone was because you felt their swag and wanted a piece of it. You are Superman, turn your swag on and start becoming a trendsetter.

Cam'Ron and Vado ft. KiD CuDi: Ur Killin' Me

Temper Trap: Sweet Disposition

Disclaimer: Swag is not a synonym for cocky or for feeling that you are better than others, that's hate. Swag is love. Love yourself.

Tegan and Sara: Alligator (RAC Mix)

Temper Trap: Sweet Disposition (RAC Mix)

Another one for the Playlist

Because I like playlists. They're a sure-fire way to keep the music going.

As the name suggests, this track will definitely take you to the beach.
