Miami Horror has produced quite a few songs. Of the originals - I have not been a consistant fan. "Holidays" of course, is phenomenal but I think their remix potential is what I enjoy most about these guys.

This next track is no different. I enjoy the original, sure but this redux just kills it.

Felt particularly inspired today. Though I suppose I should be more precise and explain that I've felt particularly inspired the last few days but seeing Shizzybaby's double post really got the playlist pumping. It's like athletes on teams who feed off of one another's great plays.

Sublime Disco

Jamiroquai originals of late don't do it for me. That being said, I look forward to them coming out because it gives two of my heroes, Alan Braxe (pictured above) and or Fred Falke the opportunity to rock some real hot Nu-Disco.

In the words of Sheena Beaston, "Subdued and sublime disco...just as expected." Also, if you are aware of an Alan Braxe show somewhere on the eastern coast of the USA, please let me know. I'm there.

Disco Is Alive

No one can predict the future.

I can, however, tell you what I envision the future to be holding.

I foresee a huge comeback for disco via disco-inspired electronic music; where bringing aspects of this retro culture into our everyday lives will be the next major trend in fashion, nightlife, and music. Now I'm not saying bell bottoms necessarily, but there will be a touch of disco in what you wear if you live in NYC, I really believe that...like a true story.

I, for one, am all for it as all I'm looking for in life is good vibrations and lit up floor panels. Oh, and I also like gold, faux or real, I don't discriminate.

So, dear reader, please take my advice and start embodying the movement now, so you can smugly say, "I was disco before it got hot again. Actually, I am disco son!" (or something to that extent) Who knows? Maybe in doing so, you shall enable my prophecy to come true.

Midnight Club EP

Electric Zoo was incredible. House music is a great live experience, I pray however that one day there will be an electro festival that exists with artists the likes of Russ Chimes, Alan Braxe, Fred Falke, etc. and has as much buzz and madness surrounding it as an event like Electric Zoo.
